Description

Freezer-Safe Labels

Extreme cold demands extreme performance. Midwest Custom Print’s Freezer-Safe Labels are specially engineered to stand up to the harshest refrigerated and frozen environments—ensuring your branding and product data stay in place no matter the temperature.

Every component of these labels—from the paper to the adhesive to the lamination—is selected for durability in frigid conditions. Unlike standard labels that may peel, crack, or lose tack when frozen, our freezer-safe labels are made with a high-tack adhesive that remains functional between -65°F to 200°F.

Perfect for ice cream, frozen meats, ready-to-eat meals, and warehouse cold storage packaging, these labels perform in production lines, walk-in freezers, deep freeze logistics, and grocery freezer aisles.

We strongly recommend testing our label stock in your specific environment. Samples are available upon request at no cost to ensure compatibility with your packaging and storage conditions.

🎨 Artwork Guidelines for Custom Labels

To ensure your custom labels print beautifully and without delay, please follow these artwork guidelines when submitting your design:

✅ File Format

  • Submit print-ready artwork in PDF, AI, or EPS formats.
  • All files should be vector-based with fonts outlined and images embedded.

📏 Bleed & Safe Zones

  • Include 1/16” (.0625") bleed on all sides of your design.
  • Keep critical text and logos 1/8” (.125") inside the cut line (safe zone) to avoid trimming.

🎯 Resolution

  • For raster images (like JPG or PNG), ensure a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at full size.

🌈 Color Mode

  • Files must be set to CMYK color mode for accurate color reproduction.
  • Spot colors should be identified if using Pantone (PMS) for color matching.

🔁 Die Lines & Cut Paths

  • If you have a custom shape, include the cut path as a separate layer labeled “Die Line.”

👀 Proofing

  • You’ll receive a digital proof before production. Double-check for any typos, alignment issues, or design changes before approving.
